Creating and publishing visual material
Would you like to create visual materials at Sif for publicity purposes? Please obtain prior approval from the Communications department.
Follow these steps:
1. Read the rules and restrictions below.2. Complete the application form, specify what you wish to capture and how you plan to use the visuals.
3. Submit the application form at least 10 working days in advance.
1. Restrictions
If approved, the following restrictions apply:
a. Confidential Information
- All information during your visit is confidential and remains the property of Sif.
- Images of intellectual property, sensitive competitive information, factory halls, machines, methods, documents, processes, access passes, security gates, cameras, or network equipment are strictly prohibited.
b. Contractual Agreements
- Images containing project or product information may only be published with the client’s permission.
c. Privacy
- Comply with GDPR regulations. Do not publish personal data or images of individuals without their written consent.
d. Reputation
- Ensure the material does not infringe on our core values, safety standards, or reputation.
2. Publication Approval
Submit the visual and textual materials for review to the Communications department at least two working days before publication. Only approved materials may be published. Unapproved visuals must be deleted.
3. Encorfement and Penalties
Violations can cause significant damage to Sif and its partners. Non-compliance may result in:
- A fine of €50,000 per day;
- Liability for damages;
- Possible criminal consequences under the Trade Secrets Protection Act.
4. Applicable Law
Disputes fall under Dutch law and will be handled by the court in Roermond.
