Joost Heemskerk successor Michel Kurstjens
As of June 1, Joost Heemskerk (42) will succeed Michel Kurstjens as CCO of Sif. Michel has indicated that he would like to take up another position at Sif after 7 years.
Joost has made his mark in the offshore energy market. He has worked at 2B Energy and has held various commercial positions at SBM Offshore for the past 8 years, currently in the position of Business Acquisition Director, with a focus on floating wind solutions. Joost studied Civil / offshore engineering.
Only after Joost has completed a thorough training period of several months, Michel will slowly prepare for his new position as Product Strategy Director. In this position, Michel will focus on the developments and future of the Offshore wind market. In this way Sif can make an important deepening in the field of related product developments.
