The Rotterdam Offshore Wind Coalition, a group of Rotterdam-based frontrunners in the offshore wind sector have announced their shared ambition to play a leading role in this industry. Collaboration, sharing success and innovation are three key spearheads that enable the partners to realise projects on a range of different scales.

Tyra

Dragados Offshore from Spain and Sif Netherlands b.v. have signed a contract for the supply of legs, caissons, and piles for the two jackets of the Tyra Future Development Project. Both jackets will be installed in the Danish part of the North Sea, 225 km west of Esbjerg. Together they contain more than 10 Kton of steel, while the piles contain 8 Kton of steel.

Fred van Beers

During the General Meeting of Shareholders on 31 August Fred van Beers was officially appointed as a member of the Executive Board of Sif Holding N.V. All votes were cast in favour of appointment. There were no votes against the resolution and there were no abstentions from voting. The resolution was thereby adopted.

A look from the sky

A look from the sky at our unique terminal with marchalling facilities at the Port of Rotterdam (Maasvlakte 2): 16,5 meter draught; deep sea quay 400 meters length; permanent lift - and transport capacity of 1.600 tons; storage area of 42 hectares and direct access to the North sea.

In storage: Monopiles and Transition Pieces for Hohe See and Norther wind farm and piles for the Johan Sverdrup field.
