Borssele 3-4

Borssele Wind Farm (official name: Borssele wind farm zone) is a collection of wind farms under construction off the coast of Zeeland. Via a connection to Borssele, the parks have been supplying electricity to the Dutch energy grid since April 2020. A total of 173 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 1.5 gigawatts will be built in the area.

Blauwwind, a consortium of Partners Group, Royal Dutch Shell, Van Oord, Eneco, and Mitsubishi/DGE, owns Borssele 3-4. The capacity of Borssele 3 and 4 will total 731.5 MW. Blauwwind is handling the construction and commissioning of 77 wind turbines of type MHI Vestas V164 9.5 MW. Sif manufactured the TP-less monopile foundations, including the accompanying secondary
