Sif produces Primary Steel for Iles d’Yeu et Noirmoutier Transition Pieces

Sif will produce the primary steel for the Transition Pieces for the French offshore wind project Iles d’Yeu et Noirmoutier “EMYN” for Eiffage.
The Transition Pieces have a maximum diameter of 6 m and weigh together more than 18,000 tons. The products will be delivered to Smulders in Hoboken, Belgium, for their final completion.
The Iles d’Yeu et Noirmoutier wind farm has a capacity of 496 MW, meaning that this wind farm can provide nearly 800,000 people with sustainable energy every year.
