Media & Publishing policy

Sif is a publicly listed company and therefore applies clear and strict guidelines for the sharing of information. Price-sensitive information is published exclusively through official press releases issued by Investor Relations & Corporate Affairs. This department coordinates all financial communications, spokesperson activities and media relations.

All other publications concerning Sif must always be coordinated with Communications. Texts are reviewed for factual accuracy and for company- or customer-sensitive information.

Taking photographs or videos is not permitted at Sif’s factories. This prohibition applies due to the presence of customer- and company-sensitive information. For existing visual materials, you may use Sif’s media library. These images may be used freely.

The photography ban does not apply to functional visual materials produced by partners on the basis of contractual agreements. In such cases, you may create images for internal use, such as reports or documentation, under the supervision of your designated Sif contact person. These images may not be used for any other purposes and may not be published externally.

Do you wish to create visual materials for promotional purposes? If so, please submit the application form at the bottom of this page to Communications. Your request will be assessed within five working days for its relevance to Sif.

In all cases, the following rules and restrictions apply:

It is not permitted to take photographs or videos of intellectual property, competitively sensitive information, factory halls, machinery, production methods, documents, screen content, work processes, access passes, security gates, camera surveillance systems, or network or IT equipment.
Project or product information may not be published without the customer’s consent.
Do not publish personal data or images of individuals without their written consent, and comply with GDPR legislation.
Ensure that images and text align with Sif’s core values, safety standards and reputation.
Always submit visual and written materials for review to communications@sif-group.com at least two working days prior to publication. Only approved materials may be published*. Rejected materials must be removed.

*Enforcement and Penalties

Violations may cause significant damage to Sif and its partners. In case of non-compliance:
You may be fined €50,000 per day
You may be held liable for damages
Legal consequences may apply under the Dutch Trade Secrets Act
Disputes fall under Dutch law and will be handled by the Court of Roermond
