Pin piles
Pin piles are steel foundation tubes used to anchor jacket structures securely.
For offshore wind farms in deeper waters or areas with complex seabed conditions, jacket structures with pin piles are used. They’re essential for a reliable foundation where monopiles aren’t suitable.
Pin piles offer design freedom. Each project is tailored to the seabed, water depth and load. Their variable length makes them suitable for a wide range of conditions – without compromising on stability or reliability.
Jacket Legs
Jacket Legs are the strong, vertical tubes in an offshore jacket. They support the weight of the platform above – whether it’s a transformer station for wind energy (HVDC or AC), or a topside for an oil or gas installation.
Each leg is unique. The design depends on its function and the offshore conditions. Often, legs are reinforced with extra structures for added stiffness and load-bearing capacity. That makes the welding complex and demanding – and that’s where our welders excel.
Some legs are conical, creating a smooth transition to a larger diameter. That too requires craftsmanship – and we’ve got it in-house.
