Europe is entering the next phase of offshore wind. The ambitions are clear. Now it is time to deliver.

Offshore wind is essential to Europe’s energy transition and energy independence. The question is no longer why offshore wind needs to continue growing, but how we can actually make that growth happen.

At WindEurope in Madrid, we focused on the shift from ambition to large-scale delivery and the collaboration needed across the value chain. In Hamburg, we build on that conversation by looking at what is needed to make offshore wind delivery smarter, more efficient and more scalable.

Because the next phase requires more than ever-larger turbines and new technologies. Projects need to be financeable, manufacturable, installable and, ultimately, deliverable. At the same time, costs remain under pressure and the European supply chain must be able to continue delivering at scale.

The next step, therefore, is not simply about building bigger, but above all about building smarter.

How can we design and execute projects more effectively? Where are the opportunities for greater standardisation and repeatability? And how do we ensure a strong European supply chain that is capable of turning these ambitions into reality?

These are not questions that can be answered by one party alone. They require collaboration and an open dialogue across the entire value chain.
